Wrap up warm David3 ! :)

My run of rainy days was broken on Saturday. The last rain was at 23:50 on Friday, and the next at 01:30 on Sunday. That leaves the new record at 30 days. Saturday was a great day with continuous sunshine and wind no more than 6mph. Temperature at about 8'C. A pleasant walk at Appledore with the waves gently lapping. All a far cry from last week. Winds now gusting at 30mph again, and dark clouds once more! :(

Wow, 40 rainy days. That's unheard of down here. We'd be lucky to get 4 straight rainy days.

Wow, that's a long run of unsettled weather. I see you also had rain on the 17th and today, making it 42 days now. What is the total rain over this period?

The rainfall keeps changing. So, it's hard to tell.

I'm in the same county as William and since 11 Dec I've only had 1 day free of rain. That's 37 out of 38 days. During that period 252.1mm of rain has fallen. That's about 1/4 of last years total rainfall. I've a garden like a swamp!

By way of contrast I've not had a frost since 26th November.

Ditto Roy, good to see we match as we are only 4 miles apart!!

0.24in already today so it will be 38 tonight. Put that together with my second highest total wet days 33 days up to 14th November 2013 and I think we need to start building an ark. Glad I am on top of the hills, the Somerset levels look like one big lake, never seen so much water.
