Highest daily temp range of 23.0 C..... JAN 31, 2013. HIGH WAS (11.5 C) LOW WAS (-11.5 C)
Lowest pressure 977.4 HPA.............. JAN 31, 2013.

Cold and windy this winter. It will get cooler eventually. Windier ? maybe. But the low pressure will be hard to beat.

Yes, it's spring time in Scandinavia and daily temperature range can be easily something like that. My station temperature range record was yesterday only 23,1 °C
(-23,1 °C to 0 °C )

Two new records have been set in the recent prolongue cold wave for April.
The absolute low was a stunning -3.4°C on the 1st April, beating the previous low of -1.8°C for April by far.
Also a new low maximum have been set with 4.5°C on 5th April, beating the previous 4.7°C by still 0.2 degrees.
It will remarkably warm up here in the next days, with highs up to 20°C, but the absolute April high of 26.4°C will stay untouched i think.

My record rainfall for a 24 hour period was 465 mm recorded on 27 Jan 2013. This was from ex tropical cyclone Oswald & the total from that was 721 mm, spread over 4 days.

I have to check if this a day record, but a maximum of 9.7°C today is surely remarkable for this time of year.
For comparison, our average daily maximum temperature would be about 17-18°C right now.
And exactly one year ago we set a record at the other end of the mercury scale- with a basking 30.3°C.
This was also the highest maximum temperature so far for May.

New dewpoint record today with a sweltering 22.6°C at 15:37 in the afternoon.
The temperature at that moment was around 29°C btw, so i'm glad that this was the last day of this sultry period.
