Not quite a new record but I had a pressure drop I didn't have for a long time simply because of a rain shower

We've yet to see "decent" weather

Re: New Record? Post here.
New record with Cumulus data with longest Dry Period of 54 days to 17 September. Note that the station in use with Cumulus measures to 0.5mm. Also August was the driest August with only 0.2mm. Late winter to early spring is often a dry time of year but it would be nice to get a bit more rain, it is rather dry.
This is the daily rain for the last few months (using a manual rain gauge with my manual records):
September (6.6mm) - 19th -1.7mm, 21th - trace, 22th -1.8mm, 24th -0.1 mm (fog), 25th - 2.2mm
August (0.2mm) - 31th - 0.2mm
July (52.1mm) – 19th – 13mm, 25th trace, 26th - 1.5mm, 28th – 0.1mm

It went up to 20.8°C in the afternoon, making in the 5th highest October Maximum since i started recording back in 2006.
And of course the highest maximum for this month, tomorrow and Saturday it might even get to 22 or 23°C, fingers crossed.

Re: New Record? Post here.
Some new all time records for rainfall rate (now180mm/hr) and also highest hourly rainfall have been broken with heavy rain from storms.
On the weekend we had some severe storms pass thorough including very intense heavy rain (in one storm we got 28mm in 10 minutes). But we were fortunate that the worst of the storms did not pass through here, they often weaken slightly before it gets here. We had a big severe storm late Saturday morning (maximum rain rate of 142mm/hr) and another severe one in the evening (maximum rain rate of 180mm/hr). We also had a mild storm early Sunday morning, a moderate storm later in the morning followed by another moderate storm in the afternoon. Then in the evening we had another severe storm (maximum rain rate of 100mm/hr). It has been a while since we had severe storms and last summer we did not have too many and I have only been using Cumulus with my La Crosse since last spring so it has been the highest rain rates I have recorded with Cumulus. Before this the highest rain rate was 74 mm/hr. We ended up with 98.2mm in total. One storm delivered 50.2mm.
