It's been worse on the coast-lines
153 km/h registered which destroyed an airport structure in my country, this one gust was isolated.

Sorry, I meant television news, not online. But I'm glad to see there were only a few minor injuries. Hopefully the damage can be repaired soon.Spider-Vice wrote:Oh it has been reportedRayProudfoot wrote:Nothing reported on the BBC News. Re: New Record? Post here.
Two days after I set up Cumulus: Highest Rain Rate 8.35 in/hr at 5:31 PM on 26 July 2011
For you non-imperialists, that's 212 mm/hr, or a tip of the rain collector spoon every 4.3 seconds. We got 0.69 inches (17.5 mm) of rain that hour, so it was a short burst, but it was enough in those fifteen minutes to overwhelm the storm drains and flood my neighbors basement.

EDIT: Funny, I just noticed it happened 90 minutes after I joined this forum!

Re: New Record? Post here.

Not much of a record but a record nevertheless
Lowest temperature 9.0'C at 20:32, highest temperature 10.2'C at 13:28.
The weather has been low cloud and drizzle for the last 3 days. Today is not much better

Did the green record light flash when you got that 'lowest range' record?

Hi Steve,
Yes, that's how I knew. It flashed the day before too but only a 2.5 degree diffference.

Thanks - it works for me too (my record was also broken recently) but there's one report of it not working.

Neither of the 2 images in your signature have a link to your website. A link would be nice.
