30.1 here - but I've only been recording here since June 2020. I have run a weather station in various locations since 2007 and this is the hottest September temperature I have recorded in that time.

I broke my September record yesterday with 29.4°C. That would be considered special in July for my location.

We are setting all time high daily rain at 79.4 mm so far today and still raining.
Previous record was 67.2 mm in June this year.

Enjoy,
Paul

I've only just realised that I set a new relative humidity record 10 days ago. 100%

I never hit 100% on the sensor that packed up in the Summer, so was this something that Davis improved on later sensors?

@Mapantz: Definitely not a Davis thing. A year ago I installed a new sensor and had to calibrate it because it was 4% too low consistently. The natural variability of these sensors require regular checking (I use a nearby official station, Windy and another local device). 100% is reached only in fog conditions. If there is no fog and it gives 100% you should look to calibrate.

But... For 5 years, the original Davis temp/hum sensor only maxed at 99%, and it only ever reached that on two or three occasions.

The new one has been reaching 99% more often, and 100% on several occasions. We get a lot of fog here, too.

It seems to me that the newer temp/humidity sensors have been better tuned.

My lowest November maximum temp was broken yesterday. The previous record of 2.1C coincidentally on 28 November 2010 was easily broken with a maximum of just 1.1C. Mainly down to unseasonal snowfall with a near calm and heavy cloud.

A rare all-time record broken. Rain Rate of 12" / hr as a squall line passed through Cheadle Hulme 20 mins ago. I imagine other stations in the NW of England will have similar conditions.

It hit south Shropshire only half an hour later. Torrential rain (20 mm/hr) but not a patch on your 300 mm/hr! I did get a big wind squall though, with several gusts to 50 knots which is only slightly less than Friday's highest gust. Did you get much in the way of wind gusts, Ray?

20mm/hr seems very low. My previous record was 10.6”/hr in August 2014. As you can see in my banner a 48mph gust was the highest recorded in what was a very stormy 5 minutes!
