All Time Records Data Error

Post by cassia »

I have the Digitech weather station and it has recorded an erroneous value for temperature of -27 on one sample. I have edited this out of the monthly data log, but it remains in the All Time Records.

How do I remove this value so that the ALL Time Records is correct?

You can use the all-time record editor (from the Edit menu) to correct the data, assuming you know what the correct data should be. In the later 1.8.9 builds, a log of changes to all-time records is kept in a file called alltimelog.txt, so if you're using a recent build, you can use that to find the previous values if you don't know them.

Alternatively, if this has just happened, you may well have a good backup copy of the alltime.rec file (it's changed to alltime.ini in the recent builds) in the Cumulus backup folder from before the problem, so you can just copy that into the data folder, while Cumulus is stopped.
