i have a Nataional Geographic 265NC which seems identical to the Fine Offset WH1080PC. Anybody know how to clear out the history i.e. restore to factory default. Tried holding down the memory button when the word CLEAR is displayed but the Max values do not clear out, only the history. Want to get rid of all Max values and start over as I have relocated the station. Also tried to clear from Easyweather but got the same results. Thanks

Here are some links to the manuals for the W-8681 that I have which I believe is a badged versin of yours

If you use a later version of Adobe reader you will see a find window at the TOP and you can search though the PDF file for all occurances of Reset- there are a few in the first one

They are a bit of a pain to interpret, those instructions. Even better than trying to read the instructions for the unit, would be a simple clear flowchart for the settings available on each 'button'. If anyone fancies having a go at it, perhaps to share with other FO owners, there is a rather good GPL license flowchart program available at http://live.gnome.org/Dia/
