Realtime.txt file does not update on website

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but I can't see it. I have achieved a working website which shows and updates all data other than the realtime.txt file which still shows the initial data sent by my FTP program and does not update.
I have selected: Auto Update, Use Active FTP Mode, Delete before upload and Enable Realtime, with 30 sec interval. Apart from this I am learning lots and having fun. There is another problem you can't help with: we have had no rain in Perth Australia since November so I don't know if the rain gauge even works.

Thanks

I would think that the most likely problem is the way you have specified the ftp directory. The realtime ftp works slightly differently than the normal ftp, and what works for normal ftp doesn't necessarily work for realtime ftp, it depends on how your ftp server and web space is set up.

If you turn on ftp logging so that a realtimeftplog.txt file is produced, that may give some clues as to the problem.
