I started using Cumulus a week ago and I am very impressed. It was easy to set up an publish the weather on Internet.
I live in Oslo and would like to publish the weather in norwegian. I have translated the Cumulus web-pages to norwegian by translating the html-files, but the words used in Forecast, Moonphases, Beaufort and Trends are still in English. I translated the words in the file samplestrings.ini, but it had no effect. The time comes in the format "14:25 on 07 mars 2010", which is norwegian except the word "on".
How can I make it completely norwegian?

Re: Cumulus in norwegian
The standard pages have already been translated to Norwegian
http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Norsk_(Norwegian)
Remember that the samplestings.ini file needs to be renamed as strings.ini for Cumulus to use it. You must restart Cumulus in order for it to use the new strings.ini file
Some of the phrases are not directly translated due to the way the pages are built, however you could do some clever Javascript to change the words as the page loads in the browser
Limitations of the translation are listed here...

Re: Cumulus in norwegian
Here is some Javascript I've created to translate the moonphase variable in Cumulus to French:daj wrote: Some of the phrases are not directly translated due to the way the pages are built, however you could do some clever Javascript to change the words as the page loads in the browser
<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript">
moonphasefr = "<#moonphase>";
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /Waning Gibbous/g, "Gibbeuse Décroissante" );
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /New Moon/g, "Nouvelle Lune" );
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /Waxing Crescent/g, "Premier Croissant" );
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /First Quarter/g, "Premier Quartier" );
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /Full Moon/g, "Pleine Lune" );
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /Last Quarter/g, "Dernier Quartier" );
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /Waning Crescent/g, "Dernier Croissant" );
var moonphasefr = moonphasefr.replace( /Waxing Gibbous/g, "Gibbeuse Décroissante" );
document.write(moonphasefr);
</script>
Just place all of this instead of <#moonphase> in the indexT.htm file.
