I am posting this on behalf of user 'meteotortosa' as his English is not too good but he wished to ask a question....I can then follow up with him in Spanish once we have discussed it.......
Sometimes in Cumulus I receive an "FTP Error 421" but once the problem has been solved I have to restart Cumulus. If I do not my website is not updated. It is possible that Cumulus could detect these errors and recover without a restart

Re: Recovering from an FTP 421 error
(speaking as myself now!)....
I understand an error 421 to be connection related -- usually that the server can take no more connections.
However, I assumed that Cumulus would simply try again at the next update interval. I have never had a 421 but I do get occasional other FTP errors and Cumulus recovers. Has anyone else had a '421' problem?

Re: Recovering from an FTP 421 error
Cumulus does detect connection errors, retries 3 times, and then gives up until next time. It's possible that the error isn't reported in the way that it expects, and somehow gets stuck thinking it's already doing a web update when the next upload is due. I'd need to see the ftp log and the debug log.

Re: Recovering from an FTP 421 error
I've looked at the logs and I can't see a problem. Cumulus is logging in and succesfully transferring files all the way through the logs, so I'm afraid I have no idea what the problem is.

Re: Recovering from an FTP 421 error
I've looked at your web site, and it's non-standard, so I don't know how it works. Is it actually all driven from the realtime.txt file? You sent me the normal ftp log and not the realtime log, so I assumed the problem was not with the realtime ftp. But the debug log shows the realtime ftp apparently working OK anyway.
