Hi folks,
I am considering moving to a Windows 7 64bit system - as I need the extra ram access for satellite data reception. I see that Cumulus is Windows 7 compatible, but could I just check that this is also true of the 64bit systems?
Also - just thought - can I move stored data from one machine to another?
Many thanks,

Re: Windows 7 64bit query
I'm developing it (and hence testing it) on 64-bit Windows 7, and it works fine. Best to install outside the program files folder, e.g. to C:\Cumulus. You can just copy the data folder from one machine to the other.

Re: Windows 7 64bit query
Another tip: You may have a few problems if the system settings for date/time/numbers etc are different between the two machines, so it's best if you can make sure they are identical before running Cumulus for the first time on the new machine.

Re: Windows 7 64bit query
Just to confirm, I have been using Cumulus with Windozey 7 64bit for about 6 months (including the Beta version) with no problems, when installed as Steve suggest.
