i tried to find the answer to my question in the forum but i lost my way. so, excuse me if i am asking a question which was already asked before:
after restarting comulus my graphs don't keep the old data plot and all starts from the begining.
if i choose "select a graph", nothing appears. you can see it now in my weather site : www.weather77.megabyet.net
i understand that i may use my bacup files but why do i need that if i didn't loose any data?? it's only the graphs that don't read older data... i am confused....
thanks for any help!

Re: graphs after restarting comulus
You have a problem in your February log file. The diags file will show the error, and in the later 1.8.9 builds, the line number also. The problem is usually a blank line, so should be easy to spot. I don't know what causes the blank lines, it never happens to me, so it's very hard to track down.

Re: graphs after restarting comulus
you are saving me again. daj
i replaced my feb log file with the one you gave me. are the graphs supposed to track all data from before? for now, they are not.
i restarted comulus before i changed the file.

Re: graphs after restarting comulus
thank you, steve.
i corrected the error . i guess it happened when i had to fix data manualy.
i don't understand why it was not tracking data for the graphs for dates after 20/2 ( when the error occured)

Re: graphs after restarting comulus
Because it stops reading the file when an error occurs, for safety reasons (avoiding loops etc).ilan72 wrote:i don't understand why it was not tracking data for the graphs for dates after 20/2 ( when the error occured)
