Pressure calibration

Post by dexterslab »

@Steve

is there any interaction between the cumulus calibration and the calibration option in the fine offset display unit?

I calibrated my barometer last night in cumulus, which had an immediate effect. I also adjusted the calibration for the 'rel' display on the unit so it matched. Everything was fine until this afternoon when i restarted cumulus and it threw out the reading like the calibration was being applied twice until i reset my cumulus calibration back to zero.

Yes, that's how Cumulus works out the sea-level pressure. You shouldn't need to use the pressure calibration setting in Cumulus at all, you should set it in the station.
