Zero bearing when calm

I am curious about what Cumulus is showing and plotting on the graph now that it is completely calm here tonight - I do not have the option "use bearing zero when calm" enabled. Here's what is showing:

So the last bearing the anemometer rested on was 56°, yet the average direction is showing 0°?

The 'use zero bearing when calm' option controls the 'instantaneous/current' bearing. The average bearing will always be zero when it's been calm for a period, as the calculation takes wind speed into account.

Ok thanks for explaining.

No worries, calm conditions are pretty boring anyway ;)
