Cumulus is free for personal non-commercial or non-profit use. You may use this software free of charge providing that you make no financial gain from it, directly or indirectly.
Two question, Steve
1. Cumulus used for website of ski-lift or mountain shelter or guesthouse/hotel etc. - Is it commercial use (indirectly) or not?
2. It is possible commercial use of cumulus?

I would only really have an issue with someone who tried to sell copies of Cumulus, or sell the output from Cumulus. I don't have a problem with businesses like hotels etc putting data from Cumulus on their web sites.

Thanks for your reply.
I do not mean the situation of trying to sell Cumulus.
I mean situation where, for example, ski-lift want to use the Cumulus to publish the current weather (temperature, snow conditions, etc.). Is it a commercial use or not?

Which is like what you are trying to do.
It is acceptable under the current license. You are not selling Cumulus and you are not Selling the data. You are simply displaying the info on your web page.
