Browsing the map and the station lists I have noticed a couple of errors.
1: Cwmavon Weather Pages has been placed in North Devon and listed under UK when Cwmavon is in the Valleys of South Wales (on the other side of the Bristol Channel).
2: Colwyn Bay Weather Station is listed under UK when there is a separate list for Wales.

It's up to the person submitting their site to decide what country they want to be listed under (where there is a choice). I'd normally also expect the owner of the site to check their listing and let me know if they had managed to put the wrong co-ordinates in - some do let me know, some seem to wash their hands of their entry having submitted it; I know there are a number of sites which have to be wrong, as they're in the middle of the ocean. But if you know what the correct co-ordinates for the Cwmavon site are, please let me have them and I can correct it.

I understand Steve. Actually ALL the Welsh entries are in the UK........
Anyway as far a Cwmavon is concerned:
Lat 51.74N
Long 3.06W
Will be as close as needs be. Its a tiny place anyway!!

Sounds like a region thing... Seems like the only people who care are in the UK outside of that region.
Reminds me a bit of the City of La Jolla in California... except there is no City of La Jolla. It is actually part of the City of San Diego, but you would never guess that from the residents of La Jolla. It even has a zip code that is not in the San Diego grouping making it look like a separate City.
I do see Wales listed as WL as an International Calling zone though.
As for wrong placements...
It is hard for an outsider to know if a place mark has been placed in the correct location when it at least lands on a land mass. Some countries don't have very detailed maps...
I actually have to correct about 1/3rd of the entries because the data was not entered correctly. These are the obvious ones that I don't have to look at the map itself which is hard to do when I get the request on my cell phone. Most have the N/S EW backwards, provided an invalid web address etc...
Clean up can take hours... especially because even looking at the basic template websites which have coordinates, they are in Degree format and Google wants decimal format.
New entries have been fairly often lately... There have been about 100 new entries since the first of the year.
