I had to trip the electric earlier, whilst I installed an outdoor socket, so everything went offline for 15 minutes or so.
Now, I have seen this before, but not while the air quality is so bad at the moment.
It seems that the 3 hour AQI trend resets if AirLink goes offline or reboot's. As the air quality is bad, it jumped from 5 to 8
Is that an AirLink problem?

Re: AirLink or CMX issue?
any build up of dust around the airlink sensor perhaps? is the airlink was off, then powered backup maybe some large particles were seen by the sensor? just a thought.
are you using the screens frame (filter) or just the default open frame? - I tend to clean mine at least once/twice a year.
a new sensor is fairly cheap: https://www.plantower.com/en/products_33/77.html

Re: AirLink or CMX issue?
@Paul
The particles aren't the problem, as it does this every time AirLink is rebooted, for whatever reason.
It normally drops straight back down.
The 3 hour AQI can't jump 3 point in under 15 minutes in normal circumstances. The PM2.5 and PM10 levels are consistent at that point in time. It must be resetting the data? ie 3 hour AQI has only 1 data point, instead of 180?
As I mentioned, it'll spike the 3 hour AQI every time AirLink is rebooted.
Those with an AirLink sensor care to reboot it to see if you get the same outcome?

Re: AirLink or CMX issue?
Yes the average will spike, the AirLink does not maintain any history so after a power reset it is starting afresh with its averages. You need to the check the "Air Quality Index Confidence (%)" on the CMX Dashboard AirLink Sensors page. Until that reaches 100% the average is not complete, when the % is low, then the average will be inaccurate, the accuracy increases with increasing %.
