Download historical data in cvs

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Download historical data in cvs

Post by Beny44 »

Hi, I would like to download the historical measurement data for future reference.
Can CumulusMX download the data e.g. in cvs format?
Is it possible?

Thanks

If CMX works in the same way as Cumulus 1 then the dayfile.txt is the solution. Import it into something like Excel and save it as a CSV format which is what I guess you meant.

I’ve been doing this for years but use Microsoft Access as it’s better suited to analysing data.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.
