Cumulus 1.8.8 in windows 7 ultimate - autostarting

Hi,

first off thanks for the great software

just a quick note to say that i tried to auto run cumulus in task scheduler as advised in the faq i think, it ran fine but no visible icons anywhere to change settings.

I then created a desktop shortcut and set that to run cumulus minimized and then moved it to the startup folder, rebooted pc and cumulus auto ran no problem and no uac warnings.

In my case it seems the simplest solution was the right one

Thanks - I have to admit I haven't tried the task scheduler thing myself (but I'll have to try it now to see if I get the same result as you did). But it's definitely worth trying the simpler method first.
