Hello,
Configuration:
RPI 4b 4MB
DietPi 9.9
Cumulus MX 4.3.3 b4070
Is there a way to set up an alarm in the ‘User Alarm Settings’ that sends me an email with the error message that has occurred?
There is the webtag ‘LatestError’, but this is a string variable, which I cannot process in the ‘User Alarm Settings’.
Could this be changed for the future?
I find it extremely useful to receive an email with the text of the error message.
Ideally with the content of the webtags ‘LatestErrorTime’ and ‘LatestErrorDate’.
Whether this is permanently installed in the ‘Alarm Settings’ or flexibly in the ‘User Alarm Settings’ is a detail.
So far I have been using the ‘ErrorLight’ webtag in the ‘User Alarm Settings’.
<#ErrorLight> Above ‘0’ Email.
This works well, I then know THAT an error has occurred, but not WHAT the error is...
The next thing is:
Why do I have to write ‘<#ErrorLight> Above “0” Email’?
BECAUSE <#ErrorLight> Equals ‘1’ does not work! I can enter it like this, save it with ‘Save Settings’ but when I refresh the page, ‘ Equals’ jumps back to ‘Above’. ‘1’ remains saved.
I use Firefox as my browser, but have tested this with the Brave browser - same thing.
Greetings to all members

Why can you not use the ‘LatestErrorTime’ and ‘LatestErrorDate’ web tags in your existing Alarm?
I'll take a look at the "equals" issue later...
