I am not sure whether the attached script is listed anywhere on this forum. I have not been able to find it but if there is, I will move this.

I thought I would upload it in case like me, others are looking for it. Also as with the many scripts betel wrote I would hate to lose it :)

This is the Multi Colored version of the thermometer.php script 'fudged' together by beteljuice and initially written by Ken True - https://saratoga-weather.org
This version is compatible with PHP 8.1 thanks to Leo (Ise-cumulus) for correcting the issues that were PHP 8.1.31 version dependent.

Thanks Jenny!
For what it's worth, I've never encountered this version before.

indeed, the versioning is conflicting. mine is :

Code: Select all

// Version 1.18 - 18-Jan-2022 - fixes for PHP 8.1 Deprecated errata
// Version 1.19 - 27-Dec-2022 - fixes for PHP 8.2

I'm actually running 8.3 without issue.

and betels:

Code: Select all

// Version 1.18 - 24-Sep-2021 - fixed issues arising from upgrade to PHP 8.0
// version 1.19 - 28-Jan-2025 - leo at PWS - Suttonbrunn fixed php 8.1 Deprecated: Implicit conversion from float by adding typecast (int) at a number of locations, especially $Y

Hi,
I am struggling to understand the view of Jenny's Betel version (maybe just me - though looks a tad confusing).
I modified a version years ago and increased the max temp and many other things for higher temps here in Australia and played a lot with the gradients.

Each Time Ken upgrades his version I modify mine (so it does not result in aversion check on my Saratoga Template).

Here is Simon's : Ken True Thermometer.

Here is Jenny's : Betel Thermometer.

Here is My : Thermometer (cannot remember where I first found the original of it before I modified it).

All good Tony, all to there own, as so to speak.

Yes I like yours, neat and tidy.

I just did not want one of Betel's scripts to fall by the wayside and hence it is now on this forum :)

Cheers
Jenny
