Re: Steel Series Gauges - how to reduce the refresh interval
You will always see a delay between your console and what appears on the web. It's about 2 seconds for me.
But yeah, something is weird on your page.. it shouldn't be doing that.
I don't use the status or timer on my gauges page, but I did just add it to see what happens. It doesn't glitch like yours, so it might be down to an older version of the steelseries package?!

@Mapantz, I’ll install the latest version over the weekend. Hopefully that will fix it.

I tried to download from Mark's site but the link is broken.De Hout wrote: ↑Thu 30 Jan 2025 8:39 pm Your gauges.js version (2.2.2) script looks quite different in Notepad++ compared to the version I use (2.7.5).
I recommend upgrading the SteelSeries Gauges to the latest version:

@mcrossley, could you update your link please?

Re: Steel Series Gauges - how to reduce the refresh interval
HELP!!!
I've never been entirely confident updating files for Cumulus. I followed Mark's readme but ended up replacing all my customised HTML pages with the default ones he supplied.
Fortunately I was able to restore from a backup but I'm now in the position where I can't get the gauges displayed on this screen.
https://www.cheadlehulmeweather.co.uk/gauges-ss.htm
I've copied realtimegaugesT.txt and gauges-ssT.htm to Cumulus\web. I restored my original css and scripts folder as they already contain the gauges code.
But after doing a manual update to upload the T files to the server all my pages are fine except the gauges one.
What have I missed?

Hi Ray,
Your gauges don't display for me either and if I do a <F12> in Edge I get
I don't know much about this but looks like a http / https security issue. Possibly somewhere in the replacement or update script.
Enjoy,
Paul

@Mapantz, thanks but which webpage? I've searched gaugesT.htm and a couple of js files but can't find that entry.

Re: Steel Series Gauges - how to reduce the refresh interval
Found the file. It was gauges-ssT.htm.
I searched for http and there was a reference that matched what @Mapantz posted.
At this stage I have just added the 's'. Should I also add the info @Mapantz supplied?
Three hours trying to update and then fix this. No wonder I rarely touch the stuff!

The jquery version you're linking to is very old. The one I posted is the latest version.

Re: Steel Series Gauges - how to reduce the refresh interval
Hi Ray,
CumulusMX has the ss-gauges built-in so generally nothing to be done as any new version of CMX would also include any updates to the ss-style gauges.
Enjoy,
Paul
You will be aware that the way old Cumulus does the website updates is to process the full template xxxxT.htm files at the normal interval and upload to your website as xxxx, htm so, yes, in your case you need to make the edit in gauges-ssT.htm for Cumulus to process and update as gauges-ss.htm and then you would have the updated script on your website.Found the file. It was gauges-ssT.htm.
