4070 Gauges show error, no data on website, localhost fine (FIXED)

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

4070 Gauges show error, no data on website, localhost fine (FIXED)

Post by StuartB »

I'm sure this was working following my immediate upgrade from legacy Cumulus to MX4 4070. I did have to replace the htm files at one point as I'd forgotten that Cumulus 1 was in my Windows startup and it overwrote them.
I've attached my MXDiag file which does show errors in uploading realtime.txt and realtimegauges.txt, referring to an unknown command.

Thanks for any advice
Stuart

PS the gauges are working on the localhost display, just not on the website, maybe they have never worked on the website

Seems like the hosting site did not like the command "EPSV". There was an option in Internet Settings to disable it for FTPS (even though I was only using FTP) and that seems to have fixed it.

The EPSV option will appear if you disable the Automatic Connection option which is supposed to detect what features the FTP server supports but seems to be failing to do that for your server.
