Is my GW1100 on the way out? After running for several months, yesterday I got an email that MX had stopped receiving data. Closing and opening MX seemed to fix it and then got another one earlier today. This time I rebooted the PC and MX. However a few hours later received another email about not receiving data. Usually it reconnects but not always.
The same sensors also feed another gateway and MX on a different IP address and PC without any alarms.
Diags file attached.

The gateway has a date of 1st Jan 2025 - is it not connecting to the internet?
You could try changing the station type to HTTP Local API and see if that makes any difference. I'd reboot the GW before connecting again.

Re: GW1100 Error opening TCP port:
Not sure what happened there, might have been after a PC restart as it appears to be ok now for MX restarts.
I tried HTTP but was only 0.0 data showing in the results, unsure where I mucked up there. In the mean time I went back to API and brought the laptop in from the shed to the house and that produced errors. The gateway seemed a little sloppy in the USB socket so have changed to another socket to see if that makes any difference.

Sorry, my bad. I forgot you were still running CMX v3, that does not have a Ecowitt HTTP Local Api station type, it was added to v4.
If you use the Ecowitt HTTP station in v3 you must also add a custom server to the gateway as detailed on the settings page help.

Thanks Mark, I came to that conclusion after a search of the forum and after downloading .net8 I upgraded to MX4 and changed to HTTP Local API. I’ll see how that goes.
