Ionos hosting - move from current host

Post by Vegit8 »

I have signed up for a webspace hosting package with Ionos.

They have given me a 'system' domain so that I can test my website data.
After a lot of faffing around with their tech support guys, I have finally arrived at the stage where I can browse to the directory that contains my weather site files.

http://s1036138733.websitehome.co.uk/weather/
As you can see the home page is displayed, but contains no data /menu's etc.
I can display other pages (gauges.htm) and so on.
None display any additional content.

The site on IONOS is a complete copy of my actual weather site http://www.geoffwebber.co.uk/weather/

Does nayone have any suggestions as to what is going on?

As the site was copied sometime yesterday (16th Jan) then any data is only current to that date. I dont think this should matter

Cheers

websitedata.json is not present on the http://s1036138733.websitehome.co.uk/weather/ directory hence no data.

Either you have not set the Internet upload settings incorrectly or you do not have permissions to do the upload.

Again (and pardon the rant) this is the 5th time today I have had to ask for the latest MXDiags file so we can see what is going on otherwise we are all guessing!!

Thank you for your assistance.
Just to put a couple of things straight.

1. The Ionos site is not currently live, consequently MX is not pushing data there.
This is borne out by the fact that the site attached to my domain is working as expected.
Therefore MXDiags would have proved nothing

2. I had not had time yesterday to read through all the posts you had responded to, and was unaware of your repeated requests for the MXDiags file.

I have not had recourse to post to this forum for at least a couple of years, and therefore do not have any idea what ails others.
