MySQL realtime table doesn't update - b4070

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

MySQL realtime table doesn't update - b4070

Post by vachah »

Hello,
succesfully migrated from v3 to v4 - b4070.
It looks like migration was smooth. I have one thing I'd like to get help with - synchronisation of data into "realtime" external MySQL.
This worked on v3. But now it doesn't.
All 3 tables were updated without errors. Table "monthly" is updated with one minute interval. But tables "realtime" and "dayfile" are not updated anymore.
Yes - I moved Cumulus from RPI3 to RPI5 and now I have another IP address but - as I mentioned - tables were updated from interface web GUI and there are data in table "monthly" are updated. So the communication between RPI and DB server works.

Any hints?

A recent build saw an additional column added to the realtime data - rweek. It sounds like you haven't added the column to your database table, so inserts are now failing.

There was also a change to the tables in release 4.3.0

Both files to convert the tables are in the latest release in sub folder MXutils named v4.3.0-AlterMySqlTables.sql and v4.3.2-AlterMySqlTables.sql. Run them in the release order (4.3.0 and then 4.3.2) in phpMyAdmin.

I had a similar issue a few updates ago, though just went to the MYSQL settings page and updated each of the database tables

Hello, thanks for recommendation. I have checked what you sugest to me.
But - I'm sure, this is done.
After that I removed the new "rweek", I'd added it from Cumulus and it was "decimal(4,1)". When I checked MXutils, the add command is for "decimal(4,2)". So now it is decimal(4,2) in my db. But still no updates into Realtime DB.

Dayfile and Mothly tables are updated.

And - yes, I have "Real time enabled".

So it looks like some problem for inserting into Realtime table.
Is there any LOG for SQL activities?

Or any sugestions?
