Hello
I am having trouble installing dotnet for my rpi 4 (debian bookworm). Until a few days ago, it worked fine but now it appears that with bookworm it won't install. Because of this I tried moving back to bullseye (debian 11) but it is no longer supported. Can anyone help please because I am stuck.
I have seen some posts mentioning this but I have not found any solution yet.
Thanks.
Joe

care to give us what commands you are using, and what error messages you are facing?
something like this should work:

Did you try the exact steps described in our official v4 installation instructions? They should be valid for Bookworm, and if not, then we need to correct those.

They did work for Bookworm but I had to resort to bullseye (debian 11) and there was a note that it does not work for bullseye.

.NET 8 is not supported on Bullseye, and therefore its latest releases probably do not work.falkunmalti wrote: ↑Mon 13 Jan 2025 11:20 pm They did work for Bookworm but I had to resort to bullseye (debian 11) and there was a note that it does not work for bullseye.
Our advise is to use an supported OS, meaning that you should use Bookworm. If you can’t install .NET8 successfully on Bookworm with the instructions I linked earlier, tell us how it fails and what errors does it give. If you paste contents from your terminal, please use the code tag or attach it as txt file.
