cutils and soil moisture sensors

Hi Hans,
wee question - anytime I update soil moisture sensors never bring back historic data
In my current setup - it shows the rain fall but the moisture sensors start from day one - any idea why that might be happening?
thanks
Ian.

Hi Ian
I assume that the longer-term data for those sensors is recorded in the data file, if so running customlogs, and extrasensors once or twice will probably work. The same happened to me this morning when it seemed that I only had one data point despite a full data file but once I had re run the commands all started displaying correctly.

Hi Ian, Andy,
The ExtraSensors charts of Ian fill up anew because of the change in the modules so far that is OK.
The SoilMoisture has immediately seven days because it also plots rain. That must have been entered by you yourself. And rain is a standard sensor of CMX for which always all data are present and can be charted immediately.
The ExtraSensors themselves have no historic data and if the chart (the json's) change the views start filling the lines anew. I have not found a way to prevent this.
Hope this explains.

Thank you.
No, the data does not return.
What I find peculiar, however, is that humidity and other data are retrieved, but the moisture is not. I am surprised that it is not retained when everything else is—it is not as if the data has disappeared.
All good if this is intended, though—thanks.

There is no difference between all ExtraSensors: check the x-axis values and see the soilmoisture lines grow slowly - just as all other extra sensors - until they will have a full series in the chart again. You just lost the recent history in the chart for all Extra Sensors.
The only difference is the presence of the rain values which are determined by the standard sensors and which series does not change.
What I see it is working as intended.
