API for extra sensors data

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

API for extra sensors data

Post by chsims1 »

Hi,

a very newbie question here. I have no problem using the API to get current data for my main Ecowitt sensors, but can't see where an extra WN31 temp/humidity sensor can be accessed. It is displayed correctly on the 'Extra Sensors' page as 'Sensor 1.' Also, where would I access historical data for this sensor via the API too please?

Regards,

Ian

See https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Full_list_of_Webtags (search for "Extra Sensors").

Thanks Freddie, I was looking under the API descriptions rather than 'webtags'. So just to answer my original question for posterity.

Code: Select all

Edit: can all webtags be accessed this way please?
