Hi all
I hadn't updated CumulusMX since late November and the connection to my GW1100 seems to have broken in the process of updating although I can't seem to see what I've done wrong.
The TCP port for my gateway seems to not be opening anymore? I'm wondering if this is more of an issue with the gateway rather than CumulusMX as the data did seem to turn to 5 minute intervals (using Ecowitt API as backup) but wondered if anyone else had any ideas.
You can see what I mean around 0245 here.
I've attached the MXdiags file here:
EDIT:
I've attached the MXdiags file from last night where it seems to have 'broken' here too:

Re: TCP Port not opening
MX is running on 192.168.0.19.
This suggests you have got your Internet Settings wrong.
The Ecowitt is running at 192.168.0.18 and you are trying to open a TCP port on it which is not possible.2025-01-06 09:23:32.818 Cumulus running at: http://192.168.0.19:8998/

Re: TCP Port not opening
Thanks so much - any idea what setting specifically this would be as I've combed through and can't seem to find anything specific other than changing the gateway IP which is correct?water01 wrote: ↑Mon 06 Jan 2025 9:52 am MX is running on 192.168.0.19.

Re: TCP Port not opening
Looks like at some point during the night your router went down and when it came back up it would appear to have changed IP addresses as from that point on it was unable to find your GW1000.
Suggest you login to your router and find our what IP addresses have been allocated to your Raspberry Pi and your GW1000 and set them up correctly in MX. I would then go into the DHCP settings on your router and reserve those addresses for the Pi and GW1000 (most routers would allow this in the DHCP settings) to make sure if it happens again they are allocated the right IP addresses.

Re: TCP Port not opening
Tried this to no avail and still got the same even when the GW1100 had changed IP address once again, have changed it to upload from the Ecowitt cloud for now and will have to properly look at it again in the near future!water01 wrote: ↑Mon 06 Jan 2025 10:50 am Looks like at some point during the night your router went down and when it came back up it would appear to have changed IP addresses as from that point on it was unable to find your GW1000.

Re: TCP Port not opening
Check using the WSView Plus app shows for the GW1100 IP address, also ping that IP from the PC running CumulusMX and make sure all that works. Might give you something to work with. As it's a GW1100 you can also access it directly from a browser.
