NOAA reports not viewing correctly
Hi Hans
I have noticed that the NOAA reports on my site are not working as expected. I can only view January 2025 reports, this is despite the reports being generated with no issues. I can see the newly generated reports on the Reports folder on my RPi and all the historic reports. The same is happening on your site and on CMX so I assume that there is a generic issue somewhere.
Any thoughts?
A happy New Year to you and your family.

Re: NOAA reports not viewing correctly
Just an observation, but my NOAA reports are fine on CMX interface.
I don't use NOAA reports on my main website, but I do have a test MX standard website, and the reports are fine on there.
Therefore I don't think this is a generic issue across all things CMX.

Hi @Freddie
Thanks for the note, you are correct that the reports show on CMX so the problem seems to be with CUtils.

Re: NOAA reports not viewing correctly
Hi all
Having seen the fact that others are not experiencing problems with the NOAA reports I ran the website update on CUtils and now can see all the reports as expected.
Now it's back to just plain recording the weather again. Only 20.4 mm rain in the last 24 hours, little consolation for those in north west England, when was the last time the sun shone?

Re: NOAA reports not viewing correctly
Hi andy, I see you solved the issue for yourself, great.
May have to do with thrifty, I'll check when back as on my site it is also wrong.
Also best wishes.

Re: NOAA reports not viewing correctly
But Snow reports are a bit unexpected. We had a report called 2024 that shows the winter season 2024\2025. This is not updated, but there is a new report for 2025 showing winter season 2025\2026 which has no data (obviously).
Edit: The 2024 report is updated when running website without thrifty.

The new year has brought in a new year "2025" in the Reports > Diary in both TableView and ChartsView. First opening the Reports - Diary it now defaults to year "2025" which at first glance shows an issue as it is all blank. However selecting "PrevYear" or "2024" than all is great. The title in the TableView for "2025" says "2025/2026 Seasonal snowfall" and for "2024" it says "2024/2025 Seasonal snowfall" so all that is good.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: NOAA reports not viewing correctly
Well, is it? It opens the next season by default.… so all that is good.
But as I have mentioned before (without any comments) we should have a new discussion of the presentation when we get the realtime measurements by LDS01.

Re: NOAA reports not viewing correctly
Hi Hans
Over the past couple of days I have noticed that the NOAA reports are not working as expected. The current year shows up but all the previous years do not.
When I run the website command all works as expected.
I have attached log files showing the overnight thrifty run and a current website run for information. I hope that is sufficient but please let me know if you need any more information.

Re: NOAA reports not viewing correctly
Hi Andy: yes you are right. It is a recurrence of an old bug which I tried to fix after the new year. I missed something and it will be fixed in the upcoming 7.4.1 fix-release (see the release notes page).

Hi Hans
Following the upgrade to the latest version of CUtils 7.4.1 the NOAA reports now run perfectly on the overnight run.
