which would be correct for a Davis VP2 and serial (or USB to Serial) datalogger.
That all seems good.
Other than the dayfile error on line 1040 it all seems ok, and running. You should fix this datafile error through the Data Logs > Dayfile > Dayfile/Viewer Editor.

I presume you mean that the text turned red in the field for entering the station type. That usually is when a field is not populated to what is expected. You didn't by chance erase the entry and moved the mouse away from the field, which would then trigger that message. But that is difficult as the entry is pre-populated with the choices. Can you do a screen capture of the message? Or perhaps enable Debug and Data logging as yours is disabled.
Code: Select all
2024-12-12 07:32:25.481 Debug logging :disabled
2024-12-12 07:32:25.481 Data logging :disabled
After enabling, stop CMX, restart, let it run for 5 minutes and then disable the debug and data logging. Have a look in the MXDiags file to see if anything else is logged. And if not already set to Warning set the
Code: Select all
Dashboard latest errors logging level
Warning
The default of Error only shows more serious issues, set to Warning to get more verbose logging
to warning.
Enjoy,
