It seems to be much longer than 10 minutes, it was actually 20 minutes.
I had a gust of 48mph 11:13pm, and the 10-min high stayed at 48mph until 23:33pm.
My console changed down from 48mph to 31mph after 10 minutes though.
Just checking some data after this instance; The 10 minute high gust was 40mph. After 8 minutes, it dropped to 32mph, and then went back to 40mph.
The 32mph was correct, that's what the console was showing, not 40.

Re: 10-Min Gust Speed
Lookig at my recent charts, my WLL seems to be frequently only holding the gusts for 10 minutes.
Your log isn't long enough to show anything much.
The early part of the log just shows the gusts increasing, but neither of the gust speeds holds for more than 10 minutes.
A 40mph gust starts at 00:04 when logging starts, and holds until 00:08 when it drops to 38 mph and stays at that speed until the log ends at 00:12

Re: 10-Min Gust Speed
I'll have to do another log, but it is definitely holding for 20 minutes.
I can see the difference on the weatherlink live app right now. I had 40mph at 17:54, the WLL dropped back to 36mph at 18:04, CMX still says it's 40mph, 18 minutes later.
Something has definitely changed, as they were pretty much in sync with each other before.
Edit: CMX just changed down to 36mph to match the WLL, exactly 20 minutes.
CMX suddenly dropped to 33mph, moments before the WLL dropped to 33mph, but straight away, CMX went up to 35mph. There were no gusts that high in that time.

Re: 10-Min Gust Speed
I have found a cause, and it will be a timing issue. It may extend the gust period depending on how timely the WLL is uploading to weatherlink.com.
It's all to do with how Davis have implemented the "current" values on the WLL - pretty poorly I think, but the dev that wrote the WLL code left a while back and I don't think we'll see any updates to the WLL code anytime soon. They've got their hands full looking after the new console!
Anyway, should be fixed in the next build, at least it's not missing the gusts which woud be far worse!
