That angle on the webcam is permeant as I cannot get the gimble on the back to go straight as the WiFi Antenna get in the way.

Red warning is from 3 am Saturday to 11am Saturday, just hope the power stays on!!

I've had that problem with past Wi-Fi camera's. The fix is to buy and install the junction box that is made for the camera - it'll give several inches more clearance.

Fingers crossed for you David. Hopefully the anemometer and all your property survives.

Those in Northern Ireland and northern England will experience something unusual. The centre of the low passes over those areas so winds will drop to a near calm before they really pick up soon after.

By Monday the storm has blown itself out over NW Germany and high pressure moves in. :D

Curious what this all will do in NL.
So far all storms were not too bad here.

I think it will weaken pretty quickly. You should be okay apart from the area close to the coast. 40mph gusts seem most likely.

The centre of the storm is going to cross central UK tonight and move SE across the North Sea and come onshore near Rotterdam and fill, so winds in north NL will be off the land and from the SE or E. The strongest winds will be on the west side of the centre and are due to the rapid development of a large high to the W of the UK. The area of strongest winds will move SSE across western UK and into France.

Thanks for the great weather forecast @freddie :D , confirming what Ray says.
Business as usual for the NE of NL: calm weather while the SW is battered. Only rain here.

Though sometimes it can be bad in this corner especially with depressions coming from the North Sea straight into the corner of Netherlands, Denmark and Germany with NW winds of gale force. Then the water rises. Not so bad so far the last seven years.

The storm crossed central Lancashire around 6am and look how much the wind dropped before picking up later delivering the highest gust of 39mph just after 2pm. We got off lightly.

David, this photo in today’s Telegraph was taken in Oxford Street, Burnham-On-Sea. Anywhere near you?

Just down road, one of three large trees that came down. What that photo doesn't show is the large electric cables it pulled up with the roots that caused some power problems, luckily not me although it did go off twice for short periods during the night.

As you can see the people in the house were lucky it fell that way!!
