Two charts displaying Conall at my place, 30 km from the coast. It was not so bad as expected, I have had worse:

As you say, not too bad. Was the coast badly affected?

Actually: no although a windforce 10 has been measured for a short period. Some trees fell in the orange warning zone. And one deadly accident in the yellow warning zone (by a tree falling). But the coast was not too bad.

My station is 5 miles away from the North Sea coast, situated in an urban area though. Like Hans said it was not too bad.
Max. 10 min. avg. windspeed was 5 Beaufort. Not even in the top 10.
