I replaced FTP site/Enable of Cumulus.ini from 0 to 1 and FTP logging from 0 to 1. I attach the last MXdiags.

Re: Weather station offline
Well the log shows it logging in OK, but nothing after that.
Rather than editing the Cumulus.ini file (not recommended), please use the configuration interface. All the settings are there (unlike C1 where some were only in the ini file). Setting via the interface also means you do not have to restart Cumulus for them to take effect.

Re: Weather station offline
At last the problem is resolved. Now Cumulus.ini has;
FTP site/Enabled=1, Host=178.159.12.246, FTP logging=0, EnableRealTime=1 and Active FTP=0.
Thank you for your help.

Re: Weather station offline
I edited Cumulus.ini because I am far from the station and the way I comunicate with the station is using "www.remote.it". I don't know how to use Admnistrative interface with this way.

Re: Weather station offline
just connect to the CumulusMX Console via IP address with the port 8998. I vpn to my home network from work and just open a browser window and connect to cumulusmx like so:
http://192.168.1.50:8998
thats it.
Note: the ip address above is just used as an example.

Re: Weather station offline
The remote.it is not an vpn service, it seems to be something more like teamviewer etc, proxying via cloud service. However in its use cases they also mention connecting to a private webserver (that cmx dashboard indeed is), so it should be possible. How does one configure it as a connectable service in remote.it application, unfortunately I don’t know.ConligWX wrote: ↑Fri 29 Nov 2024 10:42 pm just connect to the CumulusMX Console via IP address with the port 8998. Re: Weather station offline
It was a long time ago that I have subscribed remote.it. I remenber that I have installed a program named "weaved" in the raspberry and now when I sign in remote.it, I see if raspberry is online. Then I choose ssh service and click connect and I see the IP address like "proxy40.rt3.io" and the port number like "35806" to use in Putty.
I use it because it is free. I was not able to download a free VPN that can be used in Portugal.

I just use the VPN built-in to my internet router.
You could install something like OpenVPN on the Raspberry Pi if your router does not have a VPN feature.
