Question about backfilling missing Wunderground data if I have a network interruption.

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Question about backfilling missing Wunderground data if I have a network interruption.

Post by BigOkie »

For a Davis VP2 station

Obviously this isn't the same as the catch up it does when Cumulus stops working (i.e. a power outage). This is just a network outage but when Cumulus keeps running. Is there a way to have Cumulus backfill the data that is missing from the website during the network outage.

Thanks all.

Nothing built-in I'm afraid.

The only thing I can think of is to:

Stop Cumulus
TAKE A BACKUP
Roll it back to before you want to do the catch-up
Run the catch-up which should also backfill wunderground
Stop Cumulus
RESTORE the BACKUP
Restart Cumulus
