Good. There is no reciprocity in Wow anyway.

And there is also the high possibility that they never utilized the data internally either.

In the UK the data does get used by the Met Office. It is invaluable for short range forecasting of small scale weather events - for example, heavy showers in the summer, and for identifying areas where temperature is lower than forecast. This feeds in to short-range forecasts and severe weather warnings, both of which are distributed to the public. So I would argue that there is at least some reciprocity.
