CUtils 7.3.0 beta 1

Post by AndyKF650 »

Hi Hans

This worked fine for the most part. There were no errors with the ....website command, the custom log charts are all present and correct. The only issue as far as I can see is the rather odd data in the solar panel. The current value is much greater than zero just a bit odd since it is night time in Jersey. CMX shows zero in the current solar panel.

Thanks, I'll look into it.
The dashboard value comes from the realtime.txt so I am a bit surprised but if I can I'll come back to it tonight, otherwise it goes over the weekend.

@Mark: this may require your attention, at least a remark. There seems to be something wrong with realtime.txt; something has changed.

@Andy:

This is your realtime.txt:

Code: Select all

07/11/24 18:17:49 11.2 92 9.9 2.1 1.0 87 0.0 0.0 1026.1 E 1 mph C hPa mm 35.3 0.0 0.0 810.2 0.0 19.7 64 11.2 +0.2 11.2 18:16 9.6 03:35 3.4 16:45 12.0 07:05 1029.6 00:00 1025.6 16:22 4.3.0 4048 8.0 11.2 12.4 0.0 0.23 32115 0.0 1 0 0 ESE 544ft 10.5 0.0 0 0 11.1
And this is mine:

Code: Select all

07-11-24 19:18:11 4.4 100 4.4 9.3 10.8 86 0.0 0.0 1034.2 E 2 km/h C hPa mm 128.1 +0.1 0.7 802.4 0.2 17.8 68 2.1 -0.2 6.0 05:17 4.1 11:28 12.0 19:07 23.4 18:26 1035.4 11:18 1033.3 00:35 4.2.1 4043 16.9 4.4 4.4 0.0 0.14 0 98 0.0 1 0 0 E 0 m 1.4 0.0 0 0 2.1
Note the tail (or the last 15 fields):

your:

Code: Select all

0.23 32115 0.0 1 0 0 ESE 544ft 10.5 0.0 0 0 11.1
mine:

Code: Select all

0.14 0 98 0.0 1 0 0 E 0 m 1.4 0.0 0 0 2.1
According to the wiki those must be :

45 evapotranspiration today <#ET>
46 solar radiation W/m2 <#SolarRad>
47 10-minute average wind bearing (degrees) <#avgbearing>
48 rainfall last hour <#rhour>
49 The number of the current (Zambretti) forecast as per Strings.ini. <#forecastnumber>
50 Flag to indicate that the location of the station is currently in daylight (1 = yes, 0 = No) <#isdaylight>
51 If the station has lost contact with its remote sensors "Fine Offset only", a Flag number is given (1 = Yes, 0 = No) <#SensorContactLost>
52 Average wind direction <#wdir>
53 Cloud base <#cloudbasevalue>
54 Cloud base units <#cloudbaseunit>
55 Apparent temperature <#apptemp>
56 Sunshine hours so far today <#SunshineHours>
57 Current theoretical max solar radiation <#CurrentSolarMax>
58 Is it sunny? 1 if the sun is shining, otherwise 0 (above or below threshold) <#IsSunny>
59 Feels Like Temperature

I miss a space between the cloud base and the unit (ft in your case) and the number for the solar radiation is 32115 in your case and 0 in my case.
As this is generated by CMX it will require some analysis by Mark.

That is interesting but how did you manage to copy my realtime data?

Your realtime.txt resides on your server and therefore can be read with the URL:

Code: Select all

And I also debugged it all and concluded it is not a coding issue, it is with CMX.

I have the same problem as Andy, Sun radiation = 32208, from the realtime.txt (b4048).

See Mark's remark.
Problem will be solved with next (beta) version of CMX I presume.

So... I downloaded the latest Utils thinking I can give it a go, check it out, and report back.
Noted need to get latest release of MX. Hang on, I can't find "CMX 4.3.0 b4048", then all was revealed when click on Hans link to Marks comment...

You walked sideways into the group beta testers. Don't get confused. As you said wait or just participate (ask Mark). But maybe you better just wait outside the beta's, don't introduce docker in the beta circuit ;)

Edit: oh confused you with nossie :bash:

I may have spoken saturday night like too soon. As the week rain total is not in realtime.txt it may be difficult to realise.

Unless @Mark is prepared to add it.

I will come back to this.

Haha... the continuing story: I just learned from Mark that he added the weekly rain to the realtime.txt ( ) which means that as soon as I have the beta where that is available I can do beta 2 for CUtils having the weekly on the dashboard.
