WSP 3080 and reading station memory

Since Easyweather sw doesn’t work under Windows 11 (it seems, it doesn’t communicate with USB port), I’m trying to use CumulusMX 4. What is the exact setup for the WPS 3080 (same as models WH/WPS 2080, 1080)? I’ve set it to:
Manufacturer: Fine Offset (and clones)
Station type: Fine Offset
Station model: Fine Offset (and clones) FineOffset.
Can Cumulus read/clear the station’s memory (up to 4080 records) or not? I’d like to turn the PC off overnight (the station’s memory can reliably cover a few days when the computer is off). Or does Cumulus only read current values, so this won’t be possible?

Doesn't the WS3080 have a Solar Sensor? If it does you need to Station Type > FineOffset with Solar Sensor.
MX will read all history to date and then store that. When you restart it, it will read data from the previously loaded point to the current time. It does not delete the memory.

No, it has not solar sensor.
Does this mean that MX can work with the station's internal memory? I tried turning the program off, and the data in the graph was then approximated by a straight line. Could anyone advise on how to set times for this type of station, such as Log Interval and Read Avoid Period?

Tried "CumulusMX -install" in cmd (as administrator), but I got "cumulus MX failed to install as service".
I created item in registry in Run - it works, but there is still opened window after restart Win. Is it possible run it as service without opened window ?
Edit: it seems, it works (cmd):
sc create "CumulusMXService" binPath= "C:\ut\CumulusMX\CumulusMX.exe" start= auto

Did you really stop CMX and not just put your computer to sleep/hibernate? Because shutting down CMX (stopping the service in your case) is vital to the catch-up to work.
One thing to check is that your console logging interval is same than in CMX.

Once again - If I need to disconnect the USB connection to the station, should I stop the Cumulus service first? Today, I had to disconnect the USB for several hours. After reconnecting the station to the PC, the graphs are connected by a straight line, meaning it seems that data from the time the station was disconnected was not loaded. Why is that? Can it still be fixed?

It can, stop Cumulus, restore the last backup from the /backup folder, restart Cumulus.
