Pollution

Nice such Indian Summer but the high pressure above Scandinavia brings a lot of pollution. I have seen brighter days and I have been breathing better.

Not nice. It's one advantage of us being stuck out into the Atlantic I suppose.

I guess so and over here we seem to always be in the wrong place. This time even very much so.

@HansR, if you think it's bad where you are try any major city in India. Horrendous doesn't even begin to describe it.
Can your map thingy do India?

I am too small to solve things in India @Ray, but the current levels is NW Europe (NL specifically) are beyond health levels and norms.
No need to look at India, no need to discuss India unless somebody posts about it. You just change the subject.
If, when we see a problem around the corner, we are asked to look at the other side of the world where maybe similar problems will probably have very different causes, we will never get things done in our own part of the world. But if you think India's pollution is more interesting than what I see here locally, then please make a post.

Looking at my dust sensor chart in Jersey it is just as bad here, with a north east wind we just get all the pollution from the continent. Roll on days with a westerly winds from the Atlantic wet and miserable from now to spring!

Who said anything about solving anything?
Being a flight sim enthusiast I sometimes fly into airports in India and the visibility levels are very low because of excessive nan-made pollution.Hence why I thought you might be curious. It seems not.
