Re: Incorrect data in logfile
Assuming you are using CumulusMx in the Dashboard Data Logs > Monthly Logs although this looks like a picture of a Cumulus 1 editor and I do not think (but I could be wrong) that Cumulus 1 had a monthly log file editor.

Re: Incorrect data in logfile
@water01 that's the MX records editor isn't it? Not the monthly log editor.

Yes it is the monthly editor and you can see at the bottom that I am on MX 4.1.3 b4028. How can I edit this as you can see that the reported highest daily rainfall is incorrect -

Re: Incorrect data in logfile
Apologies @water01, I misread your post.
I have so many entries in the one day with the incorrect data due to recording every minute (I have since changed to every 5 minutes). It is a tedious process to edit each line. Rather than edit each line (100+), I thought I would just delete the lines. However, when I select multiple lines (say 50 lines) and then [Delete], the response is 1 line deleted?

Re: Incorrect data in logfile
OK if the problem is that big I suggest you edit it using something like NotePad++.
Do not try it with Excel or any product that alters the format of the file as this can get you into a world of hurt.
However, I should say removing a chunk of a monthly log may cause problems as I am not sure anybody has done it!!!

Re: Incorrect data in logfile
Thanks @water01. The last thing I want is more problems, so I might just edit line by line

Re: Incorrect data in logfile
Those values are relative unique, so using Notepad++ as water01 suggested and its Search and Replace.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Incorrect data in logfile
Thank you for your help. I edited the files as you said with Find & Replace (Text Edit as I am on a Mac). It has corrected everything except "This Year" report, which still shows the incorrect data. Here are the files I did a search and replace on -
