v7.2.0 b1
Hi Hans,
I have it at https://www.komokaweather.com/cumulusmxwll/index.html and all seems good.
The Frost Days addition is very nice. Will be nice when the Snow is added.
The Info button is a great explanation. At first it didn't pop up for me and thought I may have missed something, but then after several minutes the popups did work. Likely some cache with my site.
Great work.
Enjoy,
Paul

Thanks Paul.
Winter is more important at some places than at other places I guess
The Diary addition will be nice I guess.

Re: v7.2.0 b1
Great HansR.
Very good work. I already have it up and running on my website.
https://www.meteosangonera.es/graficasclimaticas/
Although I won't be able to use Ice Days in my area (the lowest maximum temperature recorded in my area with data since 1940 is 2ºC), I am delighted with the Frost Days count.
I thought that for this type of graph, as for the warmest days too, it would be possible to add a * or something similar on the lower axis to the years that do not have complete data, as in my case 2012, when I installed the station by the end of summer. What do you think?

Re: v7.2.0 b1
Thanks @meteosangonera, it looks good (and as expected: no Ice Days) on your site.
So in your case, if you set that to RecordsBeganDate=01/01/13 the year 2012 with erroneous averages and Std Devs would not be presented in the charts. And you would only lose 4 months but get better statistics. If a user would miss several days - a broken station or other things - a loss of 15 days is accepted while calculating averages etc...
The use of RecordsBeganDate= is specific for CUtils and has no effect on CMX which has its own parameter for the startdate (which I think does not break off any charts or data calculation).
RecordsBeganDate= is supposed to be made effective when you have enough data and is intended to give the user a grace period for setting up the station, experimenting during setup etc... The idea is that during the startup period of the station the data may not be good anyway.
If that is not good enough for you I will think about an asterisk marking an incomplete year (the current year does not need to be marked, it is incomplete by definition, any viewer will understand that I assume) but as that should be done for all charts that would be quite a job
Not sure yet how to achieve that easily...
That is something I addressed differently. As most of those charts use statistics with the means to compare years I saw the problem of incomplete data (years). Therefore I created a parameter RecordsBeganDate= which determines the start of the data used. Any bias because of incomplete data will then disappear.meteosangonera wrote: ↑Sat 07 Sep 2024 6:44 am I thought that for this type of graph, as for the warmest days too, it would be possible to add a * or something similar on the lower axis to the years that do not have complete data, as in my case 2012, when I installed the station by the end of summer. Re: v7.2.0 b1
Hi Hans
I would normally get involved with this beta but currently I am in mid change of service provider so extra testing is definitely off the agenda.

Re: v7.2.0 b1
That's OK Andy, it seems everything is functioning so things will continue later with beta 2 when the diary contents has changed. That will take some time. In the mean time you can simply use the new chart
Good luck with the provider change.

Hi Hans, just wondering if it's normal for the footer not to update?

Re: v7.2.0 b1
Apparently you only ran the module graphs. In that case the footer of the indexfile does not update (it was generated by another version) and only the module gets the footer. This way you can see how everything hangs together

Re: v7.2.0 b1
Hi Hans
My new hosted site is now up and running using Freddie's hosting as suggested.
The beta looks good and installed with no issues. The Frost days chart is interesting but in Jersey they are not very common. The sea is a great moderating influence.
As an aside would it be possible to correct the units on the Home page Solar chart so that they read xx W/m2 rather than xx W/M2 which has an altogether different meaning.
