Incorrect tags

Post by goldrush »

Just to create more havoc
I think there is a problem with duplicated wind tags.

<#wspeed> The current wind speed reading.

Also

<#wspeed> The current wind bearing.

Can't be both?
Cumulus 1.8.2 build 441

I'm not sure what it is you're saying - does it say that in the Help?

Hi again
The Tag list Tags.txt shows:

Quote:
.............................................
<#wgust> The current wind gust reading.

<#wspeed> The current wind speed reading.

<#wlatest> Latest wind speed reading from console
<#wspeed> The current wind bearing.

<#avgbearing> Average wind bearing over last 10 minutes
....................................................
The same tag <#wspeed> being used for both "The current wind speed" and "The current wind bearing" as shown above

Hi again
I seem to have had a "Senior" moment........ which matches my age :)
The file I referred to as Tag List.txt is the result of ME copying the tag list from the help file into Notepad and saving it as a text file for ease of use.. (I thought!!!! :(
It also appears that my system has "Senior Moments" because upon rechecking and perfoming the same action a number of times, I find that unaccountably, for every 3 or 4 times I do this (copying from the Help file to notepad and then saving, "it" substitutes 3 of the tags in the list (not only the 1 I mentioned) making it nonesensical.

Good ole Microshite, always full of little surprises!
Sorry for the false alarm.

That's the problem with forums - everyone gets to see our senior moments! Perhaps we should declare our age so the younger ones can make allowances. I'm 58, so I'll bank a couple now!

This is all useful information, so I can make allowances for you ancients in future

Steve (50 next month)

P.S. No, I don't really want/expect everyone to start revealing their ages!
