Help Please - New Location - Reset Data

Post by Hoeveld »

I have moved house about 200 miles north into Northumberland. I have approx 4 years of data held in Cumulus Mx that was logged in my old location. I have kept this data up to moving out date. I would like to "Reset" data so before I restart and get Cumulus up and running in new location, what is the easiest method to delete old data and begin with a new start date ? If there are any other considerations etc, these would be gratefully received. Thanks

when i moved a few years ago I saved (renamed) the whole cumulus directory and the just started with a fresh install, with also if using sql database make a new database for it. this way you have the old data to reference too if needed.

Many thanks for taking time to reply. I'll look into database setup.
