Hi,
I have a Ecowitt HP2560 display, which also acts as a gateway. I'm having diffucilties for getting data in Cumulus MX 4 (using version 4.1.2b4027 at the moment)
The data is not coming in, but the program says "Connected to station". This is repeated every few minutes. I entered the mac address and local IP address of the HP2560 because it has difficulties to auto discover the station. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
The station type I selected is "Ecowitt local API".
Because I red there could be problemns with the firewall, I disabled it totally to see how it acted, but still no data. Is there something I missed to get it working?
Thanks for your help in advance!
Koen

Re: Ecowitt HP2560
The Ecowitt HP2560 does not support API.
Te station type should be ‘HTTP (Ecowitt)’.

Re: Ecowitt HP2560
Yes, indeed. Up and running now, thanks!
I only don't see the PM 2.5 sensor. I took a look at the extra sensor part, and set the primary air sensor to Ecowitt sensor 1, but no luck...
Also, in the Extra sensors page, it says "No sensors enabled" at the Air quality.

Re: Ecowitt HP2560
In Station setting - Common Options there is a box for Log extra sensors.
Is that one ticked?

Re: Ecowitt HP2560
Yes it is. I also restarted the Cumulus.exe and hoped it picked it up, but it isn't.
Edit: I got it working, I had to enable the visibility under "Settings", "Display options", "Data Visibility", "Air Quality Sensor". Under sensor 1 I selected "Visible" in the drop down for both PM and PM Avg.
