Currently using custom Ecowitt HTTP driver. Running CMX on my Raspi3. I was wondering what the complexity would be to add a GPIO lightning sensor to this setup:

I have no plans to add that to MX - too niche and platform specific.

You would have to write a program/script to read your data from GPIO, and then send it to MX using an extra sensor station - emulating the Ecowitt HTTP protocol would be simplest.

Gotcha.

Do you know the Ecowitt Http variables for lightning sensor data?
