Hi,
your Forum Software blacklisted me in the register progress. Because i was too stupid to fill in the build number.
Im not a Spammer, but i think it should be ... less regitrive.

There are better Spam and Forum Softwares on the Market i think.
Im new here and i will say thanks.
Now i will try your template and hope that i can translate it in German. I will see.

It wasn't your build number answer - it was your choice of username, which unfortunately is a popular choice amongst spammers.

The registration control measures are essential in order to prevent spammers gaining access to the forum, and work very well.

Any detected spam is swiftly removed, and the spamming accounts disabled.

There is a human element to the detection of spammers, in addition to the automated detection.

Too well i think. I´ve some Forums, where this is a little bit a trick and absolutly comfortable for the Mods or Admins.
Simply make a first Wall (Captcha, email verfication, honeypot) and then from the Software a second Layer.
Its not so complicated,

If a Spammer is in my Forum, he has nothing from it. It must not been moderated, buts not public.

Spammers attract spammers. Thats a Rule.

I´ve not so ... much freetime, im programming a WordPress Plugin, buts so complicated with the Database and Cumulus and the Data.
Im frustrated.
This will be for free and Opensouce, because i want it for me and want no money. Probably it will be better in the Future.
It takes some time as a developer. Today i worked some hours on it. It is not easy to progress the Data.

That's pretty much what we have - a captcha question and email verification. In the background a check is made against the StopForumSpam database.
