When viewing
https://huntroadweather.com/todayyest.htm it never shows the previous days rainfall. Do I have something misconfigured?

A quick look at your site seems to indicate the system was not working / not responding between Jun 23 03:33 until Jun 24 08:31. We probably need to look at the MXdiags log for that period pls.

Today over 0.8" of rain and CMX is up and running. Will check it again tomorrow. I'm wondering if the Tempest Weatherflow site is not reporting yesterday rain totals...

Glad to see yesterday rainfall is showing. I am noticing that the rainfall amount does not match what Wxflow is reporting. The Tempest always records nearly twice the amount of rainfall as my VP2 station. The Weatherflow site "corrects" the amount of rainfall based on some algorithm. My pwsWD site shows yesterdays rainfall at 1.8". Wxflow shows yesterdays rainfall at 1.04". And my VP2 reports as 1.01". But CMX shows 0.93". No idea where it is getting that number from but at least it is showing yesterday rainfall.

Could you zip up your June monthly log file and attach it to a reply to this topic, please? We will then be able to see what rain was recorded by MX. You could also zip up and attach MXdiags files covering yesterday.

Tempest - 2.95"
WxFlow - 1.85" (Nearcast Rain)
Cumulus - 2.04"
So why does Cumulus not match Tempest or WxFlow?

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to look at your datafiles yet. Just out of interest, what are Tempest and Weatherflow? Are they services you send your data to?

Tempest is my weather station -
https://tempest.earth/tempest-home-weather-system/
Weatherflow (WxFlow) is the server the Tempest sends its data.
Anyways...this issue arose when I tried to run Cumulus on the same computer running WeatherDisplay. I tried to setup both WD and CMX to digest the same data from the Tempest station. A port conflict ensued and I tried to work around it. I thought I had it licked by setting CMX to use http upload but there was still a conflict with accessing the Weatherflow server. At some point I switched CMX to use Weatherlink. Weatherlink is another server that is where my Davis VP2 and Airlink send my data. I mistakenly setup CMX to connect to the Weatherflow server to collect Tempest data, but thought I had set it to use Weatherlink. So when comparing data and nothing matched I decided to step back and re-think the whole thing. Luckily it finally hit me what my mistake was and hopefully I have everything configured correctly now.
Sorry to waste the bandwidth here with my silly mistake. I appreciate everyones help getting me through the CMX learning curve.

Glad you worked out what the issue was. Definitely not a waste of bandwidth, as I've learned new things from this topic, so thank you for your contributions.

Due to a Win10 update yesterday I had to restart my computer. BTW, I have the pro account in use for WL.com. Strange that no data was found. But I'm wondering if restarting CMX is why no rain yesterday is being shown?

Is the data from 2024/07/29 17:41:00 to 2024/07/30 08:25:14 in your Weatherlink.com data (at the 5-min interval)?
Did you get any rain since July 24th?
Enjoy,
Paul

It appears my WL pro account stopped logging data since July 16th. I have emailed them.
Today my CMX4 is showing yesterdays rain.

Just found the other thread and I have this issue also:
2024-08-01 08:22:00 - *** Data input appears to have stopped
2024-08-01 08:21:00 - *** Data input appears to have stopped
2024-08-01 08:16:00 - *** Data input appears to have stopped
Reminds me why I hate having to rely on other sources for my data.
