Unable to read transport connection.

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Unable to read transport connection.

Post by apple8 »

My test Ecowitt system stopped with a message:- 2024-06-21 12:33:13.037 DoCommand(CMD_GW1000_LIVEDATA): Error - Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
A reboot of the Win10 laptop got it up and running again with no loss of data. But as to what caused this I have no idea or where to start.

(I have sorted the email errors which was my failure to update the email password and know about the 'Object Reference Error from the Ecowitt firmware update.)

Thanks for the suggestion. The power options are set to never for sleeping but the USBs in device manager were set to “allow” and that has now been unticked.
